Description:

These new resources, with sound effects and narrative by the BBC ‘Barnaby’, are ideal for whiteboard use. Extensive teacher guidance covers links between geography and literacy, numeracy, citizenship, PSHE, design and technology and RE.

With downloadable pupil activities and pdf versions of the accompanying four little books for individual pupil use, these are rich and engaging resources for use with key stage 1 pupils.

The story covers Barnaby’s caravan holiday at Poole in Dorset, where he visits Brownsea island and Poole Pottery. The climax of the story is Barnaby helping to rescue two little boys who have floated out to sea in their dinghy; as a reward for his help, Barnaby is given a guided tour of the lifeboat station.
