ICT Advice for teachers
This site contains three areas of ICT advice for geographers. Ask an Expert - a panel of geography teachers and advisors will answer your question within five days by e-mail. Ideas for using ICT in your lessons. Newsletter - news, events and features for ICT in geography.

ICT Newsletters
This section of the Becta ICT Advice website houses the quarterly ICT in Primary and ICT in Secondary magazines which regularly feature items of interest to geography teachers. You can also sign up for the magazines, ICT Advice Alerts, Direct2U subject mailings and Ask an Expert theme notifications to be sent straight to your inbox.

Innovating with Geography
Designed to help schools plan and teach geography courses from the national curriculum geography programmes of study that will engage and motivate pupils aged from five to 14. Bright ideas and more developed ideas for teaching are constantly being added.

Institute of Education: CPD
The Institute of Education, University of London, runs a wide range of CPD courses for all practitioners involved in education at all phases.

Interact Worldwide
The education section includes information, talks and lesson plans on population issues, basic facts about HIV/AIDS and HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Internet Geography
Resources for human, physical and economic geography and some excellent GCSE revision material.

Joint Council for General Qualifications
The JCGQ comprises of AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CCEA and WJEC and provides an opportunity for strategic debate, information exchange and expression of common interest among awarding bodies.

Joint Earth Science Education Initiative (JESEI)
The JESEI was instigated to help non-specialists with their teaching of earth science.

Juicy Geography
A site designed for sharing ideas and resources, contains downloads, articles and links. Particularly useful for teachers in Somerset.
