E-Base goes Live
Launched on 22 February 2008 this website contains daily video dispatches and galleries from the E-Base mission as Robert Swan and his team lived solely on renewable wind and solar energy for two weeks at Antarctica's first dedicated educational base.

Education for Sustainable Development

Environment Agency
From daily flood warnings and air quality to fishing and waste management, the website provides reliable, up-to-date information for environmental lessons.

Espresso
A constantly growing digital library of high quality, innovative, video-rich, cross-curricular resources, all tailored to the National Curriculum and cross-referenced to QCA Schemes of Work.

ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute)
Contains 114 GIS-based lessons from mapping a plant cell to exploring the SS Titanic. ESRI also offer a special bundle of ArcView software and data as a school site licence.

ESPERE-ENC International
Focuses on topics around climate for schools. Features the latest research, but presented in a student-friendly way, including a climate encyclopaedia, and a section for teachers.

Ethics and Animal Farming
The Ethical Matrix is an educational resource for students and teachers in schools and colleges. The resource provides three class exercises in how to apply ethics to issues in animal farming, including an interactive web-based exercise.

EUROPA
The portal site of the European Union. It provides up-to-date coverage of European Union affairs and information on European integration.

European Schoolnet
An international partnership of more than 26 European Ministries of Education developing learning for schools, teachers and pupils across Europe. It provides insight into educational use of ICT in Europe for policy-makers and education professionals.

Every Jouney Matters
This site contains information about how children around the world get to school, as well as KS2 lesson plans on the theme of sustainable transport. The site also contains games, quizzes and competitions.

Examinations Appeals Board
An independent body which aims to help give confidence to candidates, parents, schools and colleges who make use of the examinations system, that the grades awarded are fair and accurate.

Excellent Development
Excellent Development works on sustainable development projects in Africa and in addition works to enhance development education in the UK and worldwide.

Exploring the Environment
The Exploring the Environment™ online series features an integrated approach to environmental earth science through modules and activities and is developed at the NASA Classroom of the Future™.

Eye to Eye with Child Labour
Developed by Save the Children, Eye to Eye's main aim is to develop, in collaboration with secondary school teachers, engaging and participatory classroom resources on the various issues connected to child labour.
