CABE's Green Day - 4 June 2010
Green Day is an event led by CABE which helps make primary and secondary schools more sustainable. It aims to inspire students and teachers to learn about climate change and how it relates to the buildings and spaces around them. A free Green Day activity kit, packed with over 100 lesson ideas, can be downloaded from the CABE website and 17 free workshops will be taking place across the UK between March and May. Jewel of Muscat - Free Teaching Materials
The Jewel of Muscat project is an exciting historical venture, involving the reconstruction of a 9th century trading ship, and sailing it from Oman to Singapore in February 2010. The website offers a variety of free resources suitable for ages 6-16 including lesson plans, classroom activities, quizzes, games and experiments specifically designed for history, geography, science and technology.
Brazil in the School Programme
