They can be used either individually or in combination to construct medal distribution maps, scatter graphs or alternative medals tables. Questions from Unit B of Sports Geography: The Athens Games can be adapted to analyse the figures you decide to draw. These activity sheets include some worked calculations/examples.
* The medal points tally is calculated by giving 3 points for each gold medal, 2 points for silver and 1 point for each bronze medal
