Medal Mapping

These worksheets include total medal points*, population (millions) and GDP per capita (US$ PPP) data for medal-winning countries at each of the past five Olympic Games. They can be used either individually or in combination to construct medal distribution maps, scatter graphs or alternative medals tables. Questions from Unit B of Sports Geography: The Athens Games can be adapted to analyse the figures you decide to draw. These activity sheets include some worked calculations/examples.
