Australian Centre for Olympic Studies
The Australian Centre for Olympic Studies (ACOS) was launched in 2005 and aims to provide a national focus for Olympic studies in Australia. The centre's main activities are research, publishing, teaching and documentation. The book The Bitter-Sweet Awakening: the Legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games is particularly relevant to the Beijing 2008 teaching units.
