Ethos
For pupils to have an understanding and appreciation of the differences in the world they live in. To encourage an understanding of issues and to be able to empathise with other viewpoints. Fieldwork
Year 7 - Is Salford the second worst place to live in England? Visit to three areas of diverse housing in different wards

Year 8 - Ainsdale/Sefton sand dune ecosystem and Formby red squirrel reserve.

Year 9 - Impact of out of town shopping centres on traditional town centres. Visit to Bolton town centre

GCSE - Three day residential in Yorkshire Dales. Comparison of Malham and Grassington honeypots. River study, Farm and Limestone quarry visits.
