Making My Place in the World
Funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, this new GA project aims to help students develop speaking and listening skills and expand their geographical knowledge by exploring the local area.
Investigating coasts with Year 5 pupils
In this unit of work, pupils were introduced to the Lincolnshire coastal town Skegness. Through field visits and classroom activities, the pupils learned about coastal environments, erosion and sea defences. They also learned about life in a contrasting locality, tourism, human and physical processes and map skills.
