GTIP - Writing for GeogEd
If you want to submit an article based on your research for publication in GeogEd, please send copies to both Margaret Roberts, GTIP Project Leader and Clare Brooks, University of London Institute of Education. Remember that GeogEd publishes early drafts of articles which are intended to be developed further for publication in an academic journal. Each GeogEd article will be reviewed by two referees and these reviews will available to readers on the GTIP website.
Articles should be between 3000 and 6000 words in length. An abstract of 100 - 200 words should accompany the article. Use the Harvard system for references.
Finish your article with two or three questions that you might like the referees to respond to. Bear in mind that as work in progress your article will only be copy edited by the GA. Please keep us informed of the progress of your article - we would be delighted to hear of any GeogEd articles which have been adapted and accepted for publication.
Further information about the process of publishing articles in GeogEd will appear on this page later in the autumn.
