student working
Assessment of work done using the e-scape system is by using a holistic descriptor of what it means for a student to be 'thinking geographically'. Work is still in progress on writing a descriptor that fulfils this role.
Ideas that underpin the holistic assessment criteria used in the assessment of the e-scape trials in geography can be found in the article 'Thinking Geographically' by Peter Jackson, published in Geography Vol 93(3) 2006.
