Initial ideas:

Elizabeth - Y10 location of industry. How has the changing basis of manufacturing affected different communities? What new uses for old industrial sites would help make better communities?

Heather - KS3 How does a comparison of Hull and Cottingham conform to pupils' perceptions of their own settlement hierarchy? In what sense does an iconic feature, such as the Deep, contribute to a sustainbale community?

Carolyn - Y10 How and why a major development proposal, such as St Stephens, supports the idea of a sustainable community.
