'Photographs as Fieldwork – Is Milton Keynes a Sustainable City?'

Matthew and Nikki took photographs - a virtual field visit - for pupils to explore the eight components using a proforma. The pupils' responses to places they knew, or didn't, were interesting.

'Environmentally Sensitive Communities'

Vicki describes how she stimulated learners to generate ideas for an environment action plan for their school community. It gained the attention of the Head of Year responsible for the school forum and the ideas were duly presented. A lesson in participation and engagement, they can now see if actions speak louder...
