Furthering the learning and teaching of geography

A Department Website - View Sites

browser

As well as the schools participating in the project there are many great school geography department websites accessible on the internet. These not only help pupils and teachers within the school, they can be a source of resources for you, as well as giving inspiration for developing your own website.

  • The Wycombe High School geography site is second to none as a means of organising resources to support the students (and teachers). If you’d like to contact the creator and manager of the site for advice, email Hugh Mothersole.
  • The Hampstead School geography site is a great example of showcasing pupils work, supporting creativity and giving pupils a purpose and motivation for their work.
  • The East Bergholt High School site is full of practical and creative teaching and learning resources and has an excellent bank of photographs.

If you would like to share your own geography department website, email the url to Anne Greaves.
