Geography Matters
Proposed Changes to A-Level Geography Assessment

We have become aware of advice from QCA to the DfES to abandon coursework assessment at A-level. If this happens, we would be fearful about the status afforded to fieldwork and individual enquiry in geography. Would it also presage moves to abolish coursework at GCSE? A series of official letters and responses to these proposals are featured below.
