Guerrilla Geographers Wanted! Give Geography its Place is seeking as many Geography teachers, acdemics, professionals and university students as possible to take part in the their next 'Guerrilla Geography' day. After taking over the streets of Birmingham as on-foot CCTV cameras (see the videos), GGiP is looking to force the public and the media to think geographically by taking direct (public education) action in London this October. This is not a protest against CCTV, it is about getting the public to think geographically about their space and place. Just think, people question 'what's the history of this place' all the time... we want people to start saying 'what's the geography of this place'?
Date: Saturday 20 October 2007 Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm Location: Russell Square, London (meeting point)
To learn more about and take part in this event visit the Guerrilla Geography website.
