NAEE (National Association for Environmental Education) is currently petitioning Downing Street to put environmental education at the heart of the school curriculum. NAEE believes that 'Environmental Education provides young people with the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to understand why we should all adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, and equips them to take the positive action outlined in the DCSF's "Sustainable Schools" strategy'. The E - Petition can be accessed on the Downing Street website.

ACTION PLAN FOR GEOGRAPHY 2008 USER SURVEY
This survey will take about 5 minutes to complete online. It will provide important evidence for how the APG has been used by teachers so far and we welcome your views and comments about the value of the APG. The results will help inform our joint discussions with DCSF in relation to future APG activities beyond the current contract. Geography Teaching Today is just one aspect of the APG and the survey begins with your views on this. It then continues with questions on other aspects of the APG.

Take this survey here.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback; your comments are much appreciated.
