Associate Membership
The GA offers concessionary rates to students and first year NQTs and to those who are retired or unwaged - these members receive all the normal benefits of GA membership.
We also offer associate rates to members of international geography associations - these members receive the same benefits as associate members with the exception of journals which are available online only.
Direct Debit Offer
Paying for your membership by Direct Debit (DD) helps us keep our costs down but did you know that it can help keep your own costs down too? If you choose to subscribe by DD you will automatically be charged at last year's prices (a saving of approx 3% on the current rates). Whether you are new to the GA or a renewing member all you need do is download a Membership Form, follow the DD payment instructions, and return your completed form to GA HQ at the address provided.
NQT Offer
Students and first year NQTs can join the GA for an annual fee of just £28.50, and if you pay by Direct Debit, you also get your subsequent three years as a teacher at the same rate. That's a maximum of seven years GA membership at the same annual price! Give us a call today on 0114 296 0088 to sign up. You are not obliged to continue your membership for seven years and are entitled to cancel at any time.
