Global Dimension

The Global Dimensions project is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and the National Lottery Community Fund. The aim of the project is to answer the questions:

  • What exactly is meant by the global dimension, and
  • How best can we as geographers address it?

The activities, ideas and resources featured here form part of the project. They support and supplement the book Geography: The global dimension (key stage 3). The materials are jointly published by the DEA and the GA.

Click on the cover to download a copy of the book. Alternatively, purchase the book via the secondary listing on our Geography Shop.

Information about workshops and continuing professional development on the global dimension in geography education can be found on the Events pages.
