Seaside selections
Websites
Children should not rely only on the web as a source of information for their seaside selections. However, in preparing this unit, web research found a wealth of sites for each of the families. We typed in search phrases such as ‘seaside holiday France camping’ and found many sites to choose from, including some catering for young children, so suitable for Family 1.
We suggest you make a brief search for each of the family preferences, find some suitable and contrasting sites and save them as favourites for the children to investigate.

Knowledge Bears - Camels
A large variety of animals are covered from around the world and these can support a variety of units in Superschemes. The example given is the ABC of camels where children can find out all there is to know about camels! The hump in fact does not store water contrary to popular belief but fat which it uses when it needs some extra energy.
