The Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA) has launched a new National Curriculum website. The site contains the new primary curriculum framework as well as guidance and a range of tools and case studies to support schools in designing a curriculum that meets the needs of their learners.

My Place, Your Place, Our Place
This new set of online CPD courses from the GA explores the relationships between identity and place by drawing on some key geographical processes and understanding. Barnaby Bear to vist all UK RSPB & WWT reserves during 2010
Find out about one of Barnaby's biggest adventures yet - a year long bicycle trip around the UK visiting every RSPB and WWT bird reserve and more than 50 eco-schools. Together with his friend Gary, they'll be raising awareness about climate change whilst supporting the RSPB, WWT and Asthma UK. Geography Champion featured in national magazine!
Congratulations to Champ Anthony Barlow whose work is featured in the September 2009 issue of the DCSF's Primary Teacher magazine. The article, 'Champions of the world', talks about his 3D mapping project 'Barrow Bridge: Now, Then and the Future' and goes on to explain the aims of the Primary Champions scheme.

Cambridge Review Final Report Published
The final report of the Cambridge Primary Review has now been published. It joins the final report of the Independent Review of the Primary Curriculum, led by Sir Jim Rose, which was released earlier in the year.
Advisory from QCDA (03.11.09)
Ministers have accepted in full our report on the national curriculum revised level descriptions for Key Stages 1 and 2. The recent public consultation around primary curriculum reforms provided an opportunity to review the subject level descriptions across all levels to bring them in line with changes to the primary and secondary curriculum.
