Quality Geography for All Conferences
Book online
These Quality Geography Conferences for primary and KS3 will explore the nature, effects and impact of the Geography Quality Marks. They aim to provide a great opportunity to discuss and develop what we mean by 'quality geography' in both the primary and secondary phases.
- Central London: Tuesday 3 March 2009
- Birmingham: Tuesday 10 March 2009
|
|
The conferences will identify elements of quality geography exemplified through work from Quality Mark schools, and will look in detail at how schools can prepare for, work towards and achieve the Quality Marks.
Examples of good practice will be taken from a range of schools and will include evidence submitted from those schools who have been awarded the secondary Centre of Excellence status or the primary Gold Award.
Teachers already participating in the Primary and Secondary Geography Quality Mark schemes will lead workshops and share how they have supported and developed quality geography in their schools.
