GA Annual Conference 8-10 April 2010

Subject Leadership in the Primary Phase
A new online CPD unit for primary geography aimed at helping primary subject leaders and school management teams to 'lead' the development of geography in the curriculum.
CPD Units on Food Security
A set of free online CPD units that explore the complex issue of food security from both global and local perspectives. These units will provide you with ideas and resources that can be adapted to challenge and inspire your students.
GA Quality Geography Conferences

Poland Study Tour - Full Details Announced
The GA's International Working Group will be leading the 2010 Study Tour to Poland from 28 July - 10 August. 'Poles to Poles' is a north to south journey from the Baltic to the Tatra Mountains investigating the impact of EU membership on environment, economy and society.
Geography at the Olympics: London 2012
The London 2012 Olympics present a unique opportunity to investigate geography in action - the transformation of a river valley, urban regeneration on a grand scale and the potential for a sustainable Olympics. Supported by the GA, the Field Studies Council are running a range of geography programmes at the Olympic Park suitable for KS2 to A-level.
Fully Funded Whale and Dolphin Survey
