Conference & Exhibition Board
The GA's Annual Conference and Exhibition provides value for money CPD and an extensive programme of topical lectures, hands-on workshops, forums to voice your opinion on current issues, teacher-to-teacher sessions, field visits and the UK's largest geography resources exhibition.
Our main purpose is to ensure the vibrancy and relevance of the GA's foremost annual event and give practitioners and activists opportunities to share and display their work; devise a programme to ensure subject-specific and pedagogical content for all phases; identify the Keynote and Public Lecturers and offer delegates the opportunity to examine the latest resources for geography teaching.

This year's Annual Conference theme is 'Geographical Futures' and is taking place at the University of Derby from 12-14 April 2007. The Conference programme offers contemporary teaching ideas from subject experts in over 70 lectures, workshops, teacher-to-teacher sessions and field visits. It provides you with an opportunity to meet friends and colleagues from the national and international geography community, discuss current issues, share ideas and relax at social events.
If you are interested in presenting a session at our Annual Conference 2008 please contact Lucy Oxley. Exhibition details are available from Anna Gunby.
