Iain Palôt - Chair

Iain Palôt has been teaching since 1965!! CSE, GCE, NVQ, GNVQ, Avery Hill, Curriculum 2000 - he has seen it all and still loves teaching the subject. He still does fieldwork as he believes that is the best way for students of all ages to learn about he subject. He was brought up by the very best geography teachers at Beal GS, Borough Road and Birkbeck and tries to live up to that high reputation. He says everyone should go to China and experience for themselves the changes that are taking place, if not look at your own locality and understand what is going on there.
