Alpine Glaciers: Response to climatic change over the last 100 years

This lecture, which is relevent to the new GCSE and AS/A2 specifications, reflects the very first recorded lecture given to the Manchester Branch of the GA, at which Miss Walters B.Sc., HMI, gave a Lantern Lecture on Alpine Glaciers on 29 January 1910.

The Ogden Prize

The Odgen Prize is awarded annually by the Manchester Branch of the Geographical Association for the two best students in A Level Geography examinations in the Manchester area. Candidates have to be nominated by members of the branch.
