Call for papers: GA Annual Conference 2010
Following the success of the new strand of Research Papers launched at the GA's 2009 Annual Conference we will again be including a series of sessions focusing on and reporting recent research into geographical education.
Here comes summer!
We've prepared some great ideas for engaging primary pupils in fun geographical activities over the summer holidays, and for getting secondary students out of the classroom during the remainder of the summer term.

KS3 Geography Teachers' Toolkit: Changing My World

Focusing on the key concepts of Scale, Place and Environmental Interaction, students are encouraged to link their own lives to the global implications of climate change and think about the future. Changing My World aims to remove the 'fear factor' and 'blame culture' that often characterises the issue of climate change, and illustrates the value of looking at climate change through a geographical lens.
